There’s something about a bookstore

Perhaps it’s a cliche for an author, but it is the truth. Bookstores were an escape. It was the one place my sister and I were always allowed to go. We would pass hours there, cuddled in a corner until hunger forced us out. It was a sad day when the nearby Borders (that was a whopping 45 minutes away) finally closed down.
